Meet the instructor
Stephanie Chivers
Stephanie Chivers is a coach, trainer, and specialist in behaviour change. She has accumulated 17 years of experience within various drug and alcohol treatment services, starting from her role as a young person's practitioner to becoming a family worker, team leader, service manager, and currently a Director of a community-interest company. Stephanie has conducted workshops and training sessions for schools, GPs, social workers, private businesses, coaches, housing workers, and essentially anyone seeking knowledge about drugs and alcohol. She isn’t the fun police but is passionate about sharing factual information so that individuals can make informed choices about their drug and alcohol usage, leading to a happier and healthier life.
Stephanie also holds a unique position, having intermittently worked in the hospitality industry since her teenage years. Moreover, her son is a head chef.
